GIRL'S STRANGE STORY.

An unusual story was told at the Stratford Police Court, England, recently, when a young woman, Mary Levy, described as of no occupation and no fixed abode, was charged with conspiring with tyiree men m custody, named Montigny, Douglas and Moody, m attempting to obtain £500 by menaces from Mrs Florence Blake, it is alleged that the men, who are on remand, threatened to expose what they declared was a photograph of Mrs Blake's husband and a woman unless she paid them £500. Detective Hilder said he arrested the woman Levy. When charged she said, "I thought it was for a divorce."
