"TARZAN OF THE APES."

The jungle picture, " Tarzan of the Apes," will be screened at Hin Majesty's Theatre next Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and ab a special matinee" on Thursday. The management claim this to bo one. of the biggest productions of the season's output; The National Film Corporation, they say, took a company of 20 principals, directors, camera men, mechanists, and property-rae-n right into the interior, of the- .Brazilian jungles.' A village covering three acres of ground was built, only to be burnt and destroyed later when Tarzaii, at the head of a herd of elephants, ranged through the village to avenge the death of :his ape mother. Lions, tigers, panthers, leopards* crocodiles, gorillas, apes, etc., participate in this splendid production. There fire sanguinary conflicts between the Arabs and the negroes, and cleverly pieced throughout is a study in contrasts showing life as it is jn the African jungle. The scenery is said to be simply magnificent in its picturesqupness' and rugged grandeur. " Tarsian of the Apes" throws some light on the problem of evolution, besides being ;> gripping adventure, alluring romance, and wholesome, edifying entertainment for young and old.'
