HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
Francis X. Bushman and Beverly Bayne were starred in the Metro production "A Pair of Cupids," which was screened before a large number of spectators at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday evening. The story, was that of a society butterfly who was morefond of her dog Fou Fou than anything eke and a young man whose only object in life was to make money. The girl's uncle was-very anxious that she should marry the young man, but the girl refused on .the grounds that hewas a human cash register, while the young man looked upon the girl as nothing more than a butterfly. How theimcle found a solution to the difficulty by introducing a pair of twins made an amusing finish to a novel production.. Some line Canadian, mountain scenery was introduced into a film depicting the methods of capturing, wild animals. The, other items, on the programme were the "Co-operative Weekly," Which dealt with a variety of subjects, and a comedy "Betty Wakes Up." The programme will be repeated this, evening-
