The board agreed to tako this course, and Mr Dart, on behalf of the Cricket Club, concurred. Tho creek at dune's which it has now been decided to bridge has been the scone of several accidents, there being at present a high dangerous wooden bridge close up against the fence.

A lengthy discussion took place on tho method of dealing with the footpaths round the principal block of the township. At present the concrete kerbing has been j-mt in, and the footpaths in question are v in a. filthy condition. On the motion of Mr Doherty it was decided to level those footpaths and shingle them in the meantime. The tenders of Messrs Duff, Brick, and Leaman, to provide man, dray, and two horses for shingling work on the roads, was accepted, the rate of pay being 24s per day. A great deal of routine business was dealt with.
