CLEARING SALES.

Messrs Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., held a sucessful clearing sale yesterday at Huntington, on behalf of Mr Frank Long. The following were the principal sales:— Horses.—Bay maro £7, yearling filly £10, trap horse and gig £17, bay gelding £7. Cattle.—3 fat heifers at £9 os, poley cow £13 10s, heifer in profit £10 ss, cow £10 10s, 2 steers at £9 2s 6d, heifer at £19 55,, 2 steers at £4 10s, 3 heifers at £5 7s Gd, heifer £3 15s, Jersey do. £7 10s, 2 yearlings at £2, 2 calves at 14s, bull at £4 7s 6d, cow at £9 10s, do. at £12 10s, do. at £10. Sheep.—lls 2-tooth |-bred ewes at 34s Bd. Pigs.—Sow and litter £5 ss, 7 weaners at 18s. Implements.—Gig £8, drill £26, binder £8. d.f. plough '£4 10s, disc harrows £5 los, and sundries at current pi-ices.
