SHEEP SALES.
SYDNEY, July 7. Influenza^ and the shipping strike seriously affected tho sheep sales. Although the .quality was good, many lots, including Now Zealand and Tnsmaiiian, were unable to come forward. Bidding was weak and prices were low. A Haddon Rig stud ram arid Canowie ram fetched 410 guineas each. MELBOURNE* July 7. The Federal authorities made .representation to the United States to, remove the embargo en importing Australian sheep, but. so far; the'■' Americans have declined.
