BAPTIST.
Special services were held yesterday in the Baptist Tabernacle in commemoration of the signing .of. the Peace.Treaty, both services,being conducted by Pastor C. S, Matthews, the congregations being large. In the morning the preacher delivered an impressive discourse from Psalm lxix., 1:50-32, urging his hearers "to show their gratitude at the return of peace by living more in the spirit of thanksgiving. In the evening an evangelistic address was delivered. .' .
