COAL SUPPLIES.
ANOTHER DISPUTE.
WELLINGTON, July 7. The Acting-fPrime Minister, and the Minister of Mines, have received a letter from the Point Elizabeth and Liverpool State Collieries' Industrial Union, in which the members state that they take grave exception to certain acts of the manager of the mines, in connection with which they demand an enquiry within 14 days. Failing a satisfactory reply (the letter continues) "we shall ask permission of the Miners* Federation Executive to employ such tactics as will, in our opinion, compel the powers that be, to take notice of our request.''
