OFFICER'S DEATH.

AUCKLAND, July 3. Captain A. Duval, of the New Zealand Army Ordnance Department, ivas found dead in tho laboratory room at the works, the cause of death boing v bullet wound. He was proof offioer for the Defence Department at Auckland, it being hi& duty to tost ammunition. He was 50 years of ago, and leaves a wife, but no children.
