A letter was received from the New Zealand Kennel Club-intimating...that the following challenge classes had been allotted to Ashburton in conjunction with the Winter Show; to be' held on June 27 and 28:—Yorkshire terriers, Pekingese, Esquimeaux, bulldogs, cocker spaniels, black and cocker spaniels, other than, black. •
The schedule was considered and revised, and the ■ following judges were appointed :-—Poultry Section—Poultry classes (opjen), Mr John Casey, Wellington; utility classes, Mr C. Cuss'en; selling and juvenile classes, Mr W. H. Robinson; pigeons, canaries, and cats, Mr T. H. Jones. Winter Show Section—Grain and seeds,' Mr F. W. Seldon; roots and garden produce, Mfessrs W. Anderson (Fairton) »nd John Hunt; cookery classes, Mr_S. Madden; dogs, Mr H; Skyle.
