' OAMARU, Oct. 22. The Oamaru Trotting Club's meeting was held to-day. The weather was warm in the morning, but after the iifth race a heavy shower of rain fell. There was a fair attendance, though the ■ absence of special trains had a material effect on the size of the crowd. The totalisator investments were £12,598, compared with £14,120 last year.
