THE KORNILOFF AFFAIR.
PETROGRAD, Oct. 21. The documents relating to the KornUoff affair have been published. They include a meniorailduin issued by General Alexieff when he was resigning the post of Chief of Staff. He states that it is the common conviction tfeat General Korniloff did not lift ,a hand against the State. All he desired was to create a strong,, capable Government. He had no personal aims, and was ready to work with' 'anyone who would save the country. Thia "is the basis of the widespread sympathy for Korniloff.
