OHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 22. The annual meeting of the North Canterbury and Oxford Jockey _Club was held at Rangiora yesterday. There was.a large attendance. The following are details of the racing: —
Trial Plate.—Majestikoff 1, Jack Symons 2, Red Shield 3. Won easily by four lengths; a length between second and third. Time, Imin 11 1-5 sec.
Rangiora Cup.—Comely 1, King Star 2, Snub 3. Won by half a length; a length between second arid third. Time} 2min lOscc.
View Hill Ti-ot Handicap.—Sweet Ntit 1, Bundong 2, Jessie "Dillon 3. Won by a neck; six lengths between second and third* Time 3min 43sec.
Oxford Hack Handicap.—Bellrock 1, Bomb 2, Miilvolia 3. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 16 4-ssoc. * , . .Hack - -{Welter-- Handicap.—-Majisstr* kofF 1, Red Cent 2, \Kimbolton "3.." Won easily. Time, lmin 18 l-ssee.
Flying Handicap.—Donnata 1, Golden Prince 2, Bon 3. Won by a length. Time, lmin 3 1-osec. Derby Day wa.s third, but was unable to draw the weight. ' '
Hack Handicap.—Wrestler 1 5 Bomb 2, Thestius 3. Won easily. Time, lmin 9 4-ssec.
Ashley Trot Handicap.—Energy 1, Prince Akwood 2, Kokemoor 3. Won by. a head.
