THE WEATHER.
AH day yesterday a very strong nor'wester blew, and raised clouds of dust. This morning" it was still blowing, but had slackened down considerably. The sky was overcast, although it was very hot. About 11 o'clock a shower of rain fell, but it soon ceased, and the conditions became as sultry, as ever. At 2 o'clock to-day the "thermometer at the Domain weather station wa<> up to 75 degrees. The Government Meteorologist's forecast to-day was as follows:—The indications are for westerly winds, veering by west to south., The weather will probably prove squally and changeable, clouding over- and rain later, and probably become' colder. Barometer using after about 16 hours..
