Fat Oatble. —One hundred and sixtydeven were penned. Quality was good. The supply was sufficient for the demand, and prices were par to 5s lower. Extra bullock* £22 10s, prime £17 to £19 10s, medium £14 10s to £15 10s, light and inferior £12 10s to £13 10s; best cows and heifers £13 to. £15 2s 6d, good £Ll to £12 10s, light-£8 to £10.
Sheep.—Three thousand six hundred were penned. The quality was good. Heavy-weights were decidedly easier, but medium-weights suitable for export sold better. Taken all round prices dropped 2s a head. Best wethers 39s to 425, extra 51s 9d, good 36s to 38s, medium 32s to 34s 6d, light 27s to 295; hostfc ewes 38s to 425. extra 50s,' good 'V:-'. t-i 36«, medium 28s to 31s, light 22, to 255. . -
Lambs.—One thousand two hundred and sixty' were penned. .The. quality was only fair. There was a fair de 7 mand for prime at late rates. Graziers competed well for unfinished at slightly higher values. Best 27s to 30s, extra 345. medium 24s to 25s 6d, unfinished 21s to 23s 6d.
Pigs.—A small yarding of fats woa keenly competed for. Stores were in fair demand.
