At Addington market there were small entries of almost all classes of stock. Fat .cattle were firmer,: as were fat lambs, the latter selling up to 9£d per over all. Store sheep, which were mostly wethers, also sold well, and fat sheep were firmer. Prime fat pigs were in demand, but unfinished sorts and stores were dull of sale. Sheep. Store Sheep—2-tooth ewes to 23s 7d, 4 and 6-tooth 27s 3d to 30s 3d, 6 and 8-tooth 14s 9d to 27s 9d, soundmouth 18s 3d to 27s 7d; 2-tooth wethers 23s to 35s Bd, 4 and 6-tooth 19s Sd to 325, 6 and 8-tooth to 275, sound-mouthed to 245; ewe lambs to 13s IH. wether to 11s, mixed sex to 15a M. Fat Lambs—Prime 28s to 33s 6d, 'medium 25s to 27s 6d, lighter 18s 2d to 24s 6d. Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 43s 2d, prime 36s to 425,' lighter 27s to 355, Merino 24s Id to 34s 6d; extra prime ewes to 42s 9d, prime 34s 6d to 395, medium 29s to 345, lighter 22s^ 3d to 23s Gd. Fat Cattle.—Extra prime, steers, to £21, prime £13-5s to £20 4s, ordinary £11 to £13 ■; extra prime heifers £15 2s 6d, prime £10 to £14 10s, ordinary £7 10s to £9 15s, extra prime cows £16 10s, prime £10 10s to £15 10s, ordinary £7 10s to £10 ss. Store Cattle.—Small yearlings , £2 ss, 15 to 18-montks £4 7s 6d, 2-year heifers- £6 ss, 3-year steers £8 17s 6d, dry cows £4 to £9 10s, dairy £5 to £18 10s. Pigs. Fat Pigs.—Choppers and baconers, equal to 7£d per lb:; porkers equal to 7d to 7|d per lb. Medium 6tores 26s to 335, smaller; 16s to 235, weaners 8s 6d to 14s.
