The winter meeting of the anterbury Park Trotting Club was commenced yesterday in cold and showery weather, i The track was heavy, and tin's affected ; the racing, as many of the horses were ' unable to act in the going. Railway Handicap.—John Dillon 1. Bingana 2, Franzalena 3. The winner beat Tamarisk by half a length, but the latter w;is disqualified for starting before his time. Time, 2min 29 2-osec.

All Rovoir Handicap.—O.l.C. 1, Lord Audloy. 2, Kokomoer 3. Won by half a, length; 10 lengths between ! second and third. Time. : 2iniii 23 2-5 sec.
