THE DARDANELLES.
REQUEST FOR PUBLICATION OF
PAPERS.
THE GOVERNMENT'S PROMISE
(Received Juno 2, 12.20 p.m.)
LONDON, June 1
In the House of Commons, Sir H. J. Dalziel appealed to'the Government to publish the Dardanelles papers. . j Mr Ohurchill supported the appeal,, saying ho did not see why the papers | should not be presented to the House, as tho operations had closed. So far as ho himself was concerned he would say: "Publish everything." Mr Bonar Law admitted that tho demand was justified, and the Government intended to give the most eomjplete publication of the' subject, with two limitations: Some of tho documents were of the most confidential nature, and others might refer oo current operations. Otherwise, if the story was to be told tho whole story should bo told.
