Tho High Commissioner reports:— LONDON, June 1.
On the left bank of the Mouse tho bombardment continues -with* gre.il violence. During tho course of tho. night all German attacks in the region of Mort Horame wore dislocated.
German attacks yesterday ■ evening on our positions on tho eastern slopes were completely repulsed by tho French lire. . .■■•'■
On tho right bank of the Meuse artillery fighting has assumed a character of extreme intensity.
On Wednesday night one of our air squadrons threw about 20 bombs on stations at Thionvillo and Audunleroua"n, also 50 on the revicfcualling centre at Azannes.
