A BOUGH VOYAGE.
THE MANUKA'S EXPERIENCE. (Per Press Association), . WELLINGTON, May 31. At 10 o'clock this morning the Manuka completed the longest voyage sha has ever made from Sydney. She left there dn Thursday afternoon, and ran into south-easterly to easterly gales immediatoly after leaving, and the gales continued. throughout the voyage, with very heavy seas. The vessel was awask forward nearly all the time, but cam© through the buffeting without serious mishap. It was found necessary at times to reduce the speed to four knote. an hour. A portion of the port rail V"' was washed away. Her departure for/^ .' Sydney has been postponed until Saturday.:-
