THE "STONY" KAISER.
Oh, Wilhelm, Kaiser Wilhelm, Your ship of Empire craves Firm handling and a stiff helm, 'Mid warfare's mighty waves; But, though tho clouds, are looming, She's dashing through tho sea,' And recklessly consuming Your hoard of £ s. d. So now, like many others, The "ready" you invoke; Y rou seek to break your brothers— Behold the, breaker "broke!" And fruitless you esteem it To pawn your throne awhile, You never could redeem it— It's record is too vile. You'll spend the long to-morrow On St. Helena's coast, With none from whom to borrow Except Napoleon's ghost, Who, loth to be your crony, Will keep himself apart From one who's proved so "stony" In pocket—and in heart !
