PRETORIA, October 17. The prohibition of the sale of rifles and ammunition in the Orange Free State and the majority of the districts in tho Transvaal hae been extended for a further. three months. Some, ugly electioneering incidents are reported in tho Orange Free State. A serious fracas occurred at a Nationalist meeting at Bethulie. ; --. Sticks, iron bars,, and table knives were, used, and aaany people were injured.
