THE KIDMAN CASE.
SYDNEY, September 21
In the Kidman case, counsel for the Orown has not finished his address dealing with the alleged excessive prices charged by Kidman. Counsel for the Crown said that figures would be produced showing that for certain contracts £6375 had been paid by Kidman for goods for which he had received £11,204. His gross profits were £4829, whereas if the increases on the contract prices recommended by Major Page on tho ground that Kidman was losing money owing to the rise in prices of commodities, had not been granted, the profits would have been £3173.
