A JAPANESE STEAMER'S EXPERIENCE.
TIMAItXJ, Sept. 21. Tho Japanese steamer Shinyo Maru
has arrived from Nuigi, Japan, with 7000 tons of superphosphate, for Timaru, Lyttelton, and Napier. She has a Japanese crew, from the master down. Shortly after leaving 1 Japan she was badly knocked about by a typhoon. Dainago was done to the deck fittings, and some water got below.
