THE WEATHER.
There was a change in the weather conditions last- night, when 'the ■ sky clouded over and the night was very wild. There was no frost this s raorning, but light drizzling showers began to fall about 7 o'clock and continued intermittently throughout . the morning. This afternoon the weather was clearer. -Mr Bates's forecast to-day was as follows: —Winds freshening, northerly strong to gale. Storm appears' to be approaching from. the .west.
