1.0.0. F., M.U.: TINWALD LODGE.
The regular meeting of the Loyal Tinwald Lodge of the 1.0.0. F., M.U., was held on Monday last. N.G-. Bro'. !& Culverhouse presided. The sick visitors reported that three members had lately, been on the funds, that one was still on, and one had died. Sick pay and funoral allowance to the amount of £34 was passed for payment. The hospital scheme, inaugurated by the. Ashburton Friendly Societies' Association, came in for some high praise, as did also the attention received by a patient while in the hospital. The secretary of the' Tinwald Red Cross Committee wrote thanking tho Lodge for the free use of the Oddfellows' Hall for a euchre party and dance in aid of the Red Cross Funds. Six brethren of tho Lodge arc now on active service, whose contributions will be paid from tho Lodge Funds until their return.
