COASTAL AND INLAND OPERATIONS.
PKTROGRAD, July 27,
An official messart^ from the Can-' casus front says:—"ln the coastal region wo ropulsed n partial Turkish offeiis'vo on the right flank. ' "Keen ongngoinents directed against Mooslt over a wide front are in progress."
These two scenes of operations are far apart. Moosh lies far inland, west .of Lako Van and south of Erzeroum. The Russian forces operating' in that direction have come from Persia, occupying the town-of Van on the way.
