A Press Association telegram from Wellington states- that Mr G. G. .Hobieson, M.A., has been appointed Registrar of' Victoria College' Mr Uobioson has been connected with the college staff For 20 years. He graduated from Canterbury College, and obtained his degree ' with first-class honours.
A Press Association telegram from Dimedin states that it is understood that Mr C. MeKenzio, at present travelling inspector in the Wellington district, has been promoted to take charge of the Otago district of the Public Works Department. No inforlnation is yet available regarding the district to which the present engineer in charge in Dunedin, Mr J. McEnnis, is to be, transferred.
