AUCKLAND, July 26. ;An eight-year-old daughter of Arthur Gill, Mount Albert, died last night as a result of injury caused by a kick from a horse.

GISBORNE, July 26. V Charles Cate, a well-known boxer, was killed while bushfoiling at Matiwai. Great difficulty was experienced in carrying the body out over the rough bush tracks and through flooded creeks. Deceased as married and leaves a wife and thre<e yoxmg children.
