GERMAN CLAIMS.
AMSTERDAM, July 25
A Gorman communique says: — "We captured Russian trenches at Jesia. south oi" Kovno, and also in tho Vicinity ■■■of Dembowo, 10 kilometres north-east'of Suwalki. " Wo. crossed the Narow along tlic entire front south of Ostroleka. to Pultusk. Our troops south-east oi Pultusk are approaching the Bug, while, despite'tenacious opposition, we reached tho Na-sielsk-Gzowo lino. .' " W<> occupied several positions west of Hlonie. nnd stormed Ustanow, Lbiska, and Jasdarzew, south of Warsaw. "Tho situation m the south-eastern theatre is unchanged."
