HAYWARD'S PICTURES.
The new programmo of films at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday evening attracted a good house. "The Homo Breakers"—a Keystone faree —was the chief number. Ambrose is the boss and Walrus is the clerk. Each are anxious to flirt with the other fellow's wife, and the wives are agreeable. Walrus coaxes Mrs Ambrose to a meeting in the park. Ambrose coaxes the wife of Walrus to the office. Walrus is seen approaching, and Ambrose with his lady love hide in a vault of the bank. Walrus is after money and goes to the vault and discovers tho guilty pair. The end is very amusing. "The False and tho True," . was "a good Vitagraph drama. Betty, the daughter, of a farmer, is loved by Tom Saunders, a farm hand. She fall's in love with his scapegoat brother. Then blindness overtakes her, and' the scapegoat brother deserts her. The rest of the story is descriptive and unusually good. "The''Allies' Chorus" was another of the war cartoon series. Tha' -number was thoroughly enioyed. Other pictures were:—"A Model 'Wife" ■(comic).'; The "Topical Budget," "It Happened on Wash Day" (comic), "In Her" 'Mother's Footsteps." The latter was a pathetic drama. The. artist hns painted :i. beautiful, pcturo of tho Madonna, usinc: his wife as a model. A fonnor sweetheart of his wife is eommi;ssioTied to buy the painting, and this arouses a fearful jealousy in the artist's breast. The results are pathotic. The. same programme will be screened this evening.
