AN IMPORTANT AMENDMENT.
LONDON, July 24
As the result of renewed protests regarding the Coal Prices Limitation Bill Mr W. Runeiman has accepted an amendmeritvproviding that if a contract price is above the statutory price the contract may continue subject to a reduction in price. Mr Runciman said it was impossible to arrange a flat price for small consumers.
