Mr G. J. Harper, Chairman of .the Ashburton County Council, has been appointed by Governor's Warrant a member of the Lyttelton Harbour Board, representing the combined district' of Ashburton County and A'shbuiiton Borough,- replacing' Mr John Lanibie, who resigned. i

Drummond), and in asking Mr Drummond to accept the thanks of the Association for all the good work he had done, handed him a nicelybound[" copy of the show (Catalogue for 1914, bearing an appropriate inscription.
