MR FISHER IN SOUTHLAND.

RIVERTON, May 5. The Hon. F. M. B. Fisher addressed a large audience at Riverton to-night. His speech was mostly on the lines of that delivered at Winton last night. Oiticisms.j by this Opposition organ were severely handled by the Minister. He -i received an attentive hearing throughout and was frequently applauded. At the conclusion a vote of thanks and confidence in the-Govern-ment was carried almost unanimously.
