TACTICAL EXERCISES.
' TAKAPAU, May 6. Fine weather again favours tho divisional training camp. The day is being devoted to tactical exercises, in which practically all the troops are_ in action, the scheme of operations being to test, 'principally, the efficiency of control of the officers of the , various commands.
Generals Hamilton and Godley and staffs are present. The patient suffering from diphtheria is being sent to the Waipukurau Hospital. The disease was apparently riot contracted in the camp. The general health of the men is splendid, and the majority seem; to be thoroughly satisfied with their lot as soldiers . J
