SCHOONER IN A HURRICANE.
SEA SWEEPS THE DECKS
GISBOJINE, May s'. ' The auxiliary screw schooner Oreto, from Auckland, when off Tolago Bay on Saturday evening, was struck/by a hurricane.
The mainsail was blown out, and the vessel put to sea. A big sea came aboard at 11 p.m., and swept the decks. 'V quantity of gear was washed overboard, and the meat and fresh water supplies were- also lost.
