Mr Kinloch-Cooko, in the Commons, asked Sir E. Grey to consult Mr L. Harcourt with a view ..ijo approaching the Commonwealth regarding the latter's desire to take the New Hebrides.
Sir- Edward Grey said there was no question of acquisition; but if it arose the Government would act after consultation with the Commonwealth, with whom it was in close touch.
