THE SUEZ CANAL.
SCHEME OF IMPROVEMENTS.
' LONDON, February 25. The Suez Canal Company expects to complete improvements by 1918 giving the canal a greater depth than any port east of Sues except Sydney. The scheme provides for a depth of 40 feet throughout, and a width .of 106 feet. ;
