' Miss Jessie Wilson (daughter ' of President Wobdrow Wilson) and MiFrancis Sayre were . married at the White House, the;, ceremony being simple yet dignified. The Rev. Sylvester Beach, pastor .of the Presbyterian Church at Princeton, New Jersey, performed the ceremony. The Maid of | Honour was Miss Margaret Wilson, the eldest daugbter of the President. Tiie Corps Diplomatique attended in full uniform. Dr Wilfrid Grenfell, the famous Labrador missionary, was groomsman. , : Factory workers.in New York sent the bride a handsome present in acknowledgment of her interest in the I amelioration of the conditions of the ( workers in the large cities in which she lived for some years as a settlement worker. . . . . |
The bride's gown was.white . satin trimmed with point lace embroidery, and she also wore orange blossoms and a court train. The bridesmaids wore pink charmeuse, silver lace tunics, and pink moire hats..
