SYDNEY, April 7. The price of butter has been reduced by 6s.
! CLEARING SALE.
The New Zealand Farmers' Cooperative Association, Ltd., conducted! a clearing sale at Tinwald yesterday on behalf of Mr T. D. Bathgate. .Though the sale was a yory small one there was a very good attendance and highly satisfactory prices were obtained as follows:— Cattle.—Dairy cows in, profit £8, £7 10s, £10 2s 6d, £9 6s, £8 10s, £8 6s, £10, £6 10s, and £6; heifers £5 10s, £6, £8 2s 6d, and £9; heifer calves £2, £2 Is, £1 15s, £1 Bs, £1 6s, £2 4s and £2 75.; 3 steer calves at £1 12s. PigsStores from £1 17s to £2 Is and sow in pig £5. Horses—Brown mare £9. Sundries—Cream separator £15, Babcock milk tester £1 17s 6d, spring-trap £10 10s, harness.£2 15s, fowls at Ss 6d per pair, 2 stacks of hay at £4 15s and £6 15s. ■
