ARMY'S DESPERATE CONDITION
CONSTANTINOPLE, November 7
■: .Nazim Pasha's report to the Ministry of War describes the condition of the Army as desperate. Discipline is abominable. Fifty officers were condemned and shot for various offiences. Nazim admits that personally he shot three for cowardice. Many positions
were abandoned without tiro slightest resistance, aiid artillery and stores left to the enemy. Many, officers refuse to go to the front, and are hiding.
Tho Ministry of War has issued an order threatening skulkers with death.
It is reported that 25,000 Kurds from Asia Minor are inarching to Constantinople. •
