FULLER'S PICTURES.
The selection of pictures submitted at the Theatre Royal last evening for the usual Thursday change of programme was of a very fine quality. The star set, "Shanghaied," was a lengthy dramatic one, and was well deserving of the very loud applause that the audience unreservedly gave it. The story dealt with the adventures of a young ship's mate, and one of the very best scenes depicted was the- pursuit of a sailing vessel, on>which he was imprisoned, by a steamer. A simple dramatic film, with a touch of sporting element, was " Lieut. Daring beats the middle-weight champion." Two soenics were shown —" Seville and its Gardens," and " The Palace of Versailles." The latter film gave both interior and exterior views of one of the famous old French palaces. In Wild- West pictures "Hypnotic Nell" was a good set. Other films shown included "Hogan's Alley" (an Irish-American comedy), " When the Five.Bells Rang", (drama), "Destiny is : Changeless" (drama), "Training Elephants in India," etc, The audience was not a large one, 'but, all the films were greeted with apnlause. The programme will be repeated this evening.
