ARBITRATION BILL DROPPED

Mr Willis declined to disclose the proceedings. It" ia reported that Saturday's Cabinet meeting 1 ended in a deadlock, Mr Wilis declining the Government's request to resign. Nothing can be done till tiro House reassembles. PERTH, December 24. The !Parliamentary session has closed. The' Assembly declined' to accept the Council's-'-amendments to the Arbitration 8i11... and. as the Coxuicil stood firm the Hill was-' thrown out. The Atqi-ney-General declared that the Council having declined to accept the proposals made, all responsibility for any industrial upheaval which ■might arise rested witli it.
