There was a very large attendance &t the auction sales held at the New Zealand, farmers' Co-operative and tUe H'avelock Street Marts to-day, and as ■might have been expected.bidding was brisk and prices good. The following prices were obtained: — ,; Poultry.—Hens, Is 6d, Is 9d, 2s and 2s 3d per pair; pullets, Is lOd per pair ;• roosters, 2s, 3s, 3s 8d to 4s 9d per pair; turkeys, goblers, 13s each, liens 5s each: cockerels, Is Id, Is 2d mid 2s; ducks, 3s 5d tb os per pair; Ksese, 8s to 7s 6d per pair. Produce. —New Potatoes, 2s per 1b; green peas, Is to Is 3d per peck; oatslieaf, chaff, 4s per sack. Pigs.^—At all prices from 6s to 375.
