NORTHERN UNION GAME.
NEW PLYMOUTH, August 10. A Northern Union match, Wellington v. Taranaki, was played here today. The visitors had a more intimate knowledge of the rules, and were in far better condition than the local men. Wellington won by twenty-three points to fifteen. • A football team from the Borough School journeyed to Temuka yesterday and played a match with a team representing the Temuka School. The visitors wore defeated by 9 points to 8.
