ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
j . . WELLINGTON, December 15. John Driscoll, who botfght poison m. a chemist's shop yesterday, stating that it wea for killing a cat, but immediately took it himself, was charged today with attempted suicide. He said he did not intend to do it, but pleaded guilty. Sub-Inspector Norwood, m obtaining a remand for a_ week, said that only this morning, m the hospital, Driscoll had threatened to take another dose. ■,'■'■■'•
