NEW SOUTH WALES BUDGET. ' SYDNEY, September 29 1The Budget was delivered to-night. The Government proposes -to find £1,315,000 for various railway works. The accumulated surplus on June 13 amounted to £637,678. Compared with the previous year, tho total -revenue decreased by £333,000. The Government redeemed loans during the year to the extent of £3,240,000. ■ That amount, if added to the amount spent on publio works, makes a grand total of £6,284,000. - - ; It is estimated that invalid pensions for the current year will be £95,000, or £20,000 m excess of last year's amount. The estimated revenue for the current year is £13,722,000, and the ■ expenditure £13,162,000. ' After making provision for the Public "Works Fund and the Closer Settlement, Fund, the estimated surplus will be £407,000. The Government requires £3^00,000 for public works during the year.
