CHRISTCHURCH HIGH-PRESSURE WATER SCHEME.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, September 29. The high-pressure water supply for fire prevention purposes is practically completed m the centre of the city between the belts. The superintendent of the fire brigade has had a most satisfactory trial of the pressure. The work of connecting the houses is being carried on rapidly.
