Lord Crewe, speaking at the Nevr Zealand dinner at' the Trocadero, expressed the Government's profound gratification at the increased contribution to the Navy without conditions of any kind. Since then they had the spontaneous and xitterly gratifying offer of a Dreadnought. He was glad that Sir Joseph Ward would be able able to attend the Conference.
