THE NEW, ZEALAND DREADNOUGHT.
LONDON, June 22. . Lord Crewe, speaking at the Nevr Zealand dinner at' the Trocadero, expressed the Government's profound gratification at the increased contribution to the Navy without conditions of any kind. Since then they had the spontaneous and xitterly gratifying offer of a Dreadnought. He was glad that Sir Joseph Ward would be able able to attend the Conference. Mr Hall-Jones said that the offer of a Dreadnought had no political significance; but was merely a proof that New Zealand recognised 1 her common interest with Britain. New Zealand saw that*Jsomething needed to be_ done, and wished TKHhauve a hand m doing it.
