WOOL, FAT AND SKIN SALES.

ASHBURTON, MONDAY, JUNE 21. Sales of wool, fat, hides and skins were held at the yards of the several aiictioneers. The usual buyers were m attendance, and a clearance of the' entries was made at the following prices: Hides.—7s 6d, 8s 6d, 9s 6d, 15s 3d, 18s 6d to 245; calf skins.—ls, Is 3d to 6s 6d. Horse-hair.—A small quantity sold at lid per lb. Fat.—Rendered fat lid to lfd per lb, according to grade; bag fat l|d to 2d, according to grade. Skins.—Oosshreds 2s sd, 2s 7d, 2s 9d, 3s Id, 3s 7d. 4s 3d, 4s 6d, 4s lid to 5s 9d; halfbreds 2s 6d, 3s 3d, 3s 6d, 3s 7d, 3s lOd, 4s 3d, 4s 6d, 4s 9d, ss, 5s 4d. 5s 9d to 5s lid; merinos 2s Id, 2s 6d, 2s 9d, 3s 4d, 3s sd, 4s 6d to 6s 3d; lambs Is 6d, 2s, 2s Bd, 2s lOd, 3s, 3s 3d, 3s 7cl to 3s 9d; hoggets up to 8s lOd; merino pelts 6d per lb, other pelts Is 6d to 2s 6d each. Wool.—Crutchings 3-Jd to 3-|d per lb; ewe crutchings 5Jd per lb :• hogget crutchings 4d per lb; pieces s\d per lb; fleece wool 7d to 8d per lb; dead wool 6£ per lb.
